Here’s a little explanation to why I disappeared for awhile.

I fell in love with photography. I did not fall in love with fake friends and people who only use others for their own interest. In 2012 I had to deal with that while I was just starting out as a music photographer. I took the blow pretty hard after loosing the people I thought I was going to have for the rest of my life. Show’s will never be the same because of the tension some people tend to make. But let me make this VERY clear to everyone. I am DONE with any drama you try to throw at me. I am in this business to work, not to make friends. It is a pity some have to go and ruin it for others but it just how it is now. Now just because I said I am in this for the work and not does not mean I will not treat you nicely if you say hi. If you greet me I will do the same. I’m not a robot bitch, I’m just done with the drama people tend to cause when they think they are more important than others :) I am completely in love with going to shows and shooting them. I love the adventure and thrill it gives me. I am NOT giving up. I took a break to pick myself back up. I learned new things about myself and found out how much I truly love this industry, It is one I never plan on leaving. There is no doubt about that. I am now back and plan on attending shows and shooting them. I am sorry for my leave but it is one I needed to take. If you see me at a show, be sure to say hello! Also please fell free to inbox me about anything, I am here if you need someone or just have a question.

I woke up this morning to find that another one of my photos have been used without my permission for a bands merchandise. I’m not going to call them out on here, but they are a band who has done this to me in the past and resulted in a pretty messy struggle. I will be contacting them to sort this…

Good post by Dan. I haven’t had to deal with bands stealing images, but it happens far too often. The “there’s no money” argument is what everyone hears, constantly. And it’s not that there’s no money, it’s that nobody is willing to spend it on something intangible like rights to a photo, which sucks. It’s the same reason people don’t want to spend money on music. It’s the same fight.
